In a visit to the Air Support Department at the MOI Directorate General of Security Support, a delegation from Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing, the Central Operations Division, has reviewed the best practices implemented in air support and the modern technologies and drones used. The delegation also reviewed the operational policies and certified performance indicators put in place for the exchange of experiences and knowledge, ensuring the development of police work.
The delegation was welcomed by Lt. Colonel Jamal Jassim Alhossani, Director of Air Support Department at the Directorate General of Security Support. The visiting delegation headed by Lt. Colonel Hammoud Alshehi and Maj. Engineer Abdullah Alhammadi and a number of officers were briefed by officers from the Air Support Department about the methods and modern technologies used in providing air support for police sectors in all the tasks assigned to the Department. They also listened to a presentation on the Department and the Ministry’s efforts aimed at improving services, managing operations and quality, and a number of issues related to institutional policing and how to enhance its development.
