The Air Wing Department at MOI's General Directorate of Security Support organized an applied workshop for the firefighting staff at Sharjah International Airport to introduce them to the type of aircraft used by the department and how to deal with helicopters in case they catch fire. They were briefed on how to quickly put out this kind of fire to ensure that the helicopter flight and logistical support services staff are safe.
Thirty trainees attended the applied workshop where they were trained on the skills required to deal with helicopters in case they are on fire and how to secure the fire zone to ensure the safety of flight and the logistical support services staff both through theoretical instruction and field applications.
