HE Felix Tshisekedi, the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, received the MoI Inspector General and UAE Candidate to head Interpol Major General Ahmad Nasser al Raisi. They discussed several topics of common interest, including means to enhance bilateral cooperation in security and policing.

Felix Tshisekedi highly appreciated the visit and the importance both countries give to fostering strong relations at the highest levels.

During his visit, Major General al Raisi, met with HE Gilbert Kankonde Malamba, the DRC Vice prime minister, minister of defense, interior and customary affairs, and national security adviser. He also visited the Police Academy under construction. A workshop was organized between the UAE MoI and the DRC Ministry of security to discuss best practices, and means to enhance relations in policing.
