A virtual bilateral meeting via video conference technology was held between the Ministry of the Interior and Japan's National Police Agency. Attendees discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides and exchange information in the areas of child protection and safety as part of a series of continuous bilateral meetings to bolster the distinct relations between the two friendly countries.
At the meeting, views and experiences were exchanged on the best practices in areas of child protection and providing a safe environment for all children through the latest technologies and applications.
Attendees also discussed ways to support children who fall victims to abuse and violence and to provide a safe and supportive environment where they receive all forms of support and protection.
