HE Julius Maada Bio, President of Sierra Leone, hosted Major General Dr Ahmad Nasser al Raisi, MoI Inspector General, to discuss ways to foster relations between Sierra Leone and the UAE in areas of security and policing.

His Excellency stressed the depth of relations between Sierra Leone and the UAE, expressing his aspiration to work together for peace, stability and development for the benefit of the region and all its peoples and the world.

During the visit to Freetown, Major General Al Raisi, his third stop in an African tour to strengthen relations and discuss ways to develop cooperation with it in the police and security fields, met with Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone. Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh , Minister of Internal Affairs of Sierra Leone – David Panda Noah , and His Excellency Ambrose Sovola, Inspector General In the ministry, during the meetings, many files of joint cooperation in various fields were discussed, most notably the security challenges, ways to enhance coordination and cooperation, and exchange of experiences in the areas of combating crime, and training.
