The Ministry of Interior's Child Protection Center in cooperation with Security Media Department at MOI is set to launch a campaign titled "Together Towards a Safe Summer" at the beginning of July in order to promote awareness of safe practices and the necessary requirements  so that children can practice their talents and hobbies in summertime in a safe environment with safety and protection.

Events feature a series of awareness-raising activities, including lectures, virtual and in-person workshops, and broadcasting awareness messages on media outlets in cooperation with the Ministry’s Security Media Department. The messages will also be posted on the Ministry of Interior’s accounts on social media platforms, in addition to press and radio statements to raise awareness of the community about summertime dangers, including children drowning in swimming pools and suffocation in vehicles, among others.

A number of campaign activities will also be held in cooperation with strategic partners and the Permanent Awareness Committee in the field of child protection in one of Abu Dhabi's malls, with the participation of a number of children, including various events and awareness and educational lectures.
