The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Department of Security Media of the Directorate General of Security Support, participated in the second meeting of the technical team for awareness-raising work in the security media in GCC states. The meeting was at the GCC General Secretariat via video conference technology.

The UAE Ministry of Interior delegation was headed by Maj. Ali Al-Afari, Head of the Security Media Department at the Ministry of Interior, and included Maj. Suhail Al-Zahmi, Head of the Websites Department, and Lt. Saeed Al Kaabi, Head of the Photography Branch in the Security Media Department.

The attendees discussed a number of topics related to awareness plans and actions in terms of preparation and production, in addition to developing plans and evaluation methods. They also discussed the award for the best awareness media production, in addition to preparing for the award in order to enhance media vision and deliver strategic messages that enhance community security.
