The UAE joins other world countries in marking the World Drug Day which is observed annually on the twenty six on June. This year, the day will be under the slogan of We Are Committed to Our Country . Say No to Drugs. The UAE and its judicious leadership were far-sighted enough to be aware of the gravity of drugs and the toll this scourge may take on the social, economic, security and other aspects. For this reason, and in collaboration with all relevant agencies and institutions, the UAE spared no effort to combat this menace and protect its citizens against the fatal threat of drugs that wreaks havoc on the country’s future, places security and safety of the community in harm’s way and destroys family stability.
