Maj. Gen. Dr. Jassim Mohamed Al Marzooqi, Commander-in-Chief of Civil Defense, chaired the regular meeting of the general directors and directors of regional departments of civil defense in the UAE at Expo 2020 site in Dubai.
A number of issues on the agenda in relation to policies and development initiatives were discussed during the meeting. A number of recommendations that serve the civil defense sector were approved.
Preparations of the Civil Defense for Expo 2020 were also reviewed to enhance safety and civil protection, and to put in place the best practices in the field of firefighting, prevention and rescue, and protect lives, property and national achievements.
