Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai and Chairman of the Drug Control Council, Drug Control Council chaired the fourth meeting of the Council for year 2021. The meeting, held on Thursday morning via video-conference technology, was attended by Brig. Gen. Saeed Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Director General of Federal Anti-Narcotics Department, Deputy Chairman of the Council, as well as heads of the Council's Supreme National Committees and a number of officials, senior officers and directors of drug control across the UAE. 

The Council reviewed new trends in drug trading and trafficking crimes, and the new techniques of smuggling, trafficking and abuse. Attendees also reviewed the results of plans to confront such techniques through more cooperation and coordination.
