HE Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, Chairman of Police Chiefs Council chaired the virtual meeting of the Council this morning. The meeting was held in the presence of a number of police chiefs and the Ministry of Interior's senior officers and discussed a number of topics on its agenda, including policies, KPIs and development plans put in place by the Ministry. 

The Council reviewed the results of the strategic performance indicators of the Directorate General of Civil Defense as instructed by the Prime Minister's Office, and the achievements it made in facing the Covid-19 pandemic in terms of readiness and training of civil defense personnel and the services provided to the public. The Council also discussed ways of dealing with community members and their responsiveness and cooperation which greatly helped in facilitating the missions undertaken by the civil defense.
