HE Lt General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, Chairman of Police Chiefs Council. chaired the Council’s virtual meeting this morning. The Council discussed a number of topics on its agenda related to the policies applied by the Ministry of Interior.

The Council reviewed the community police policy, the policies applicable for councils, the general rules, basics and controls that define the community tasks, responsibilities and duties of officers, personnel and civilians, as well as the patrol teams working in community police.

The Council also tackled the most important factors that govern sustainability in achieving the strategic goal of strengthening security and safety through tasks, activities and preventive societal programs. Following review by the Chairman, the policy was endorsed for implementation.
