THE FIRST MOL RAMADAN MAJLIS: HUMAN CENTERED AI AND WORK IN THE FUTURE
Under the Patronage of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, the first evening of the MoI 10th Ramadan virtual Majlis will be held on Tuesday. The Majlis will be delivered remotely, in compliance with safety precautions to contain the spread of Covid 19.
In line with the 50 Years theme, the Majlis this year addresses topics related to AI, work in the future, quality of digital life, life work balance, happiness, quality of life, and innovative talents. Experts and specialized academics from abroad will take part in the sessions moderated by representatives from the various UAE media.
The first session will touch on two topics: first, human centered AI, presented by Pr. David De Cremer, management department head at National University of Singapore. The second topic is work in the future, presented by Dr. David Susskind, fellow in economics at Oxford University.
The MoI is keen on ensuring the continuity of the Majlis held every Ramadan, due to the vital role it plays in promoting community ties, spreading a positive culture and strengthening ties between MoI and the community, especially in light of present circumstances with the ongoing pandemic.
The MoI, for the second year in a row, holds the Majlis virtually, allowing it to stay in touch with the community while respecting social distancing and safety precautions.
The Majlis sessions offer suggestions and recommendations to enhance quality of services. They also contribute to community stability and safety, so that MoI can be an active partner in the path towards development and constructions that the UAE is going through in all realms.
