The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Resources and Support Services Sector, on Tuesday organized the "Forum of Happiness" to honor the partners, suppliers and distinguished employees and winners of the 4th Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award at the Shangri-La Hotel in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Resources and Support Services
The meeting was attended by Major General Salem Mubarak Al Shamesi, Director General of Finance and Services, Directors-General, Department Directors, representatives of partners and suppliers and a large number of officers at the Sector of the Assistant Undersecretary of Resources and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior.
Major General Al Menhali said in a speech that the forum comes in line with the general policy of the Ministry of Interior and the strategy of the Resources and Support Services Sector to honor the distinguished people who showed remarkable excellence in their work.
He added that the successes achieved by the Ministry of the Interior and the Government Excellence awards it has bagged were a result of concerted efforts with one team. "The integration and interaction between us helps achieve leadership, excellence and quality through which the vision, mission and goals of the Ministry of the Interior could be realized", he further added.
He stressed that upgrading the security and policing methods and making achievements according to the job excellence and the active participation in the excellence awards requires more efforts and continuous care to complete the work according to the required standards of excellence.
Al Menhali congratulated the winners and the honored departments, and urged them and their colleagues to increase efforts to serve this country, wishing them all success.
In conclusion, Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali and Major Salem Al Shamesi handed over certificates of appreciation to the honorees. They also handed over certificates and trophies to the winners of the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award (the commander category).
