International Traffic Safety Symposium Kicks off Tomorrow in Abu Dhabi
Under the patronage of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the international symposium titled: The Impact of Law Enforcement and Monitoring on traffic safety" kicks off tomorrow Wednesday at the intercontinental hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Organized by the Emirates Traffic Safety Society, the Symposium will discuss papers about traffic safety, accidents protection methods, and international experience on this matter. Issues including the latest international road safety developments and legislation as well as methods of implementing the educational, environmental and engineering strategies will also be covered during the symposium.
President of the Society, Mohammed Salih bin Badwa Al Darmaki, has noted that several local, regional and international miniseries and public and private institutions will take part in the event. Experts, academics and government officials will deliver as many as 24 papers covering a number of important topics including boosting of road monitoring, efficiency of legislations, the impact of penalties on curtailing accidents and the principles of traffic safety and protection, Al Darmaki indicated.
