Sharjah Police Chief receives delegation from Supreme Council for Family Affairs

Brigadier Saif Al Zarri Al Shamesi, Commander-in- chief of Sharjah Police, received at the police headquarters a delegation from the organizing committee of the child safety campaign headed by Hanadi Saleh Al Yafei, Director of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah and Chairman of the organizing committee.
Present were Colonel Dr. Ahmed Al-Na'our, Deputy Director General of Central Operations, Major Abdulrahman Khater, Manager of Awareness and Traffic Information Branch, First Lieutenant Saud Al-Shaibah, Nahla Hamdan Al-Saadi, Director of Initiatives and Activities, of the organizing committee. 
Brigadier Al Shamesi welcomed the visiting delegation, stressing the importance of coordination and cooperation between the Sharjah Police and the departments and institutions based in the Emirate of Sharjah. He also emphasized the need for enhancing mutual trust between the police and security organs and the society sectors and institutions.
Child safety campaign is an initiative implemented by the Supreme Council for Family Affairs under directives ofHer Highness Sheikha JawaherBint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs. The campaign aims to promote awareness of the safety and protection of children to reach a society where children enjoy mental health and physical integrity.
