Major General Salem Shaheen, Director of the Human Resources Sector at the Abu Dhabi Police, honored the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters team who came first in the 8th Police Swimming Championship after scoring 105 points. The honoring took place at the conclusion of the championship that was organized by the Police Sports Association at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters.

The State Security team Dubai came in second with 61 points in its first participation in the tournament, and the General Command of the Civil Defense team came third with 51 points.

Teams from the UAE Police General Command, Civil Defense General Command, Special Security Forces Command, Police College, Federal Police School and State Security Agency / Dubai participated in the championship which was held on Wednesday morning at the NYU Abu Dhabi swimming pool. 100 meters, 50- and 100-meter breaststroke, 50- and 100-meter backstroke, 50-meter butterfly and 4x100 freestyle relay, in addition to the rescue competition created at this tournament.
