Major General Khalifa Hareb al Khaili, MoI undersecretary, revealed the 5 star plate at the traffic and licensing service center at the Umm al Quwain police and the Umm al Quwain civil defense center. Both centers were awarded a 5 star ranking as part of the global service star ranking system.

This occurred during the Major General visit to the Umm al Quwain traffic and licensing service center. He was received by Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmad al Mualla, commander in chief of the Umm al Quwain police, general directors and department heads as well high level officers from Umm al Quwain police. The Major General was accompanied by Brigadier Nasser Khadem al Kaabi, MoI director of happiness.

Major General Al Khaili congratulated the center’s employees on this achievement, and outstanding performance, which is the result of their efforts, giving and efficiency in applying the standards of the distinguished government performance system and achieving the goals of the Ministry of Interior’s strategic plan in enhancing customer satisfaction with the services provided. This comes in line with the vision of the wise leadership towards enabling the government sector in the country to Excellence in its systems, performance, services and results, and promoting a culture of creativity, loyalty and excellence among all Ministry of Interior employees.

The Major General listened to a full explanation about the services provided to the customers in the center and the mechanism of its workflow, in addition to the smart transformation in the provision of services, in accordance with standards of quality and institutional excellence.


The Major General also revealed the 5 star plate at the Umm al Quiwan civil defense headquarters. The civil defense was also awarded a 5 star ranking as part of the global service star ranking system.

He was received by Colonel Salem Hamad bin Hamdah, Director of the Department, and several officers at the Civil Defense Department in Umm Al Quwain.

The Undersecretary listened to a full explanation of the progress of work and strategic plans in the field of firefighting and rescue prepared by the administration. Also he reviewed the most prominent challenges and obstacles that may impede the progress of work, the importance of focusing on scientific and professional training and qualification for civil defense personnel, continuing to develop work, and providing advanced and distinguished services To the public, in implementation of the directives of the supreme leadership to enhance the security and safety process in accordance with the highest international standards.
