Lt. General Saif Al Shafaar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, assured The importance of international cooperation in confronting criminal organizations and cybercrime, he also stressed on the necessity of developing the mechanisms of confidential operations to implement and enhance the proactive role in combating organized cybercrime, he also pointed to the importance of developing legal legislation to reduce the commission of such crimes.

Saif Al Shafaar was addressing the attendance on last day of the meeting of the online organized cybercrime experts held by the Ministry of Interior in collaboration with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime for GCC countries.

The online meeting is running for four days and was attended by a number of notable experts and specialists from all over the world as well as law enforcement officials from the GCC countries, the Middle East and North Africa, in addition to 85 experts representing 31 countries and international organizations.
