Captain Mariam Mohammed Al Hammadi, of the Ministry of Interior, received the Community Service Award presented by the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) during the conference held in Canada to honor female and male police officers

Al Hammadi was recognized with the Award during the participation of the Ministry of Interior’s delegation, headed by H.E. Maj. Gen. Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi is the Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police in its 59th edition.

Captain Al Hammadi dedicated the award to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak,  Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.

She asserted that this achievement was due to the vision and support of His Highness Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and the leadership’s keenness to support Emirati women and enable them in all fields
