The UAE, represented by the Ministry of Interior, virtually participated in the 10th meeting of the GCC Security Media Committee. The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the means of developing security media in the GCC countries and promoting its vital role. 

Brigadier General Saeed Al Khaja, Deputy Director General of the Security Support Department at the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Security Media at the Ministry conveyed the greetings of H.H. Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and his well wishes of success and prosperity. 

The meeting also tackled a number of issues related to the work of security media departments at the GCC ministries of interior and how to boost the achievements, raise performance levels, joint work and orchestrate media efforts in awareness-raising, dissemination of constructive messages, and enhancing security and safety. 

Brigadier General Saeed Al Khaja, Deputy Director General of the Security Support Department at the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Security Media at the Ministry pointed out that the UAE, represented by the Ministry of Interior, and based on the directives of our leadership, is keen on coordinating and jointly consulting with the media departments and sectors within the GCC states in various related fields to develop work and enhance performance levels.
