MOI marks Emirati Women's Day

The Ministry of Interior has marked this morning the Emirati Women's Day celebrated on the 28th of August every year. This comes as part of the UAE's celebrations on this occasion under the patronage of HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the Women's General Union, Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood 'Mother of the Nation.'



The ceremony witnessed speeches being delivered on the occasion and in honor of a number of distinguished female members. The attendees also watched a documentary video showing the distinguished role that Emirati women have played in the movement of renaissance, development that the UAE has achieved in all fields and the role of women serving the nation and maintaining the security and safety march in UAE.

The sectors and departments of the Ministry of Interior also witnessed the honor of the distinguished female members. The Police College celebrated the Emirati Women's Day
The Police College has marked the Emirati Women’s Day commemorated by the UAE to pay homage to the achievements of Emirati women. The event is an appreciation for women’s vital role and unique contribution in achieving the UAE’s renaissance and sustainable progress. Brigadier General Walid Salem Al Shamsi, Director of the Police College, has honored the team of ladies at the college in appreciation of their contribution to the progress and development of administrative and field work at the Police College.
