The MoI federal traffic council, launched the third traffic safety campaign 2022 summer without accidents . This is part of the traffic sector initiative to enhance road safety and ensure the highest levels of traffic safety and security. The target is 3 deaths for every 100 thousand inhabitant. The campaign starts on August 1st and runs till September 1st.
The campaign is aligned with the MoI strategy to control road security and with the police leadership directives to raise awareness among the public, especially motorists about the importance of servicing their cars on a regular basis.
The campaign is implemented by the federal traffic council in coordination with the MoI traffic control, traffic and patrol departments at the ministry, and other traffic safety authorities from both the public and private sectors.
