HE Faure Gnassingbe, President of the Republic of Togo, received in his office the Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi UAE candidate to head Interpol. The two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest related to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in policing fields.

Al Raissi’s visit to Togo also his meeting with the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, HE Dameham Yark, and a number of officials in the police sectors. The meetings focused on the overall cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to develop them, as well as coordination and cooperation at the level of international organizations and bodies to support global efforts in enhancing security and safety and combating crime.
