The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Anti-Human Trafficking Crimes Committee, organized this Thursday morning the virtual forum entitled Efforts and Challenges in Combating Human Trafficking Crimes on the occasion of the celebration of the International Day for Combating Human Trafficking, which falls on July 30 of each year, in accordance with the resolution issued by the General Assembly of the United Nations.

This forum is part of the efforts made by the Ministry of Interior for spreading the culture of combating human trafficking crimes, protecting victims, highlighting the most important developments, and identifying the state's efforts in this field.

Colonel Dr. Mohamed Khalifa Al Hamoudi, Deputy Director of the Human Rights Department - and Chairman of the Committee, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the participants in this year's forum, which is being held via remote visual communication technology, pointing to the UAE's keenness to participate in regional and international efforts to combat human trafficking crimes and take the necessary measures to combat this type of crime.
