The Faraj Fund of the Ministry of Interior implemented a humanitarian campaign and initiatives in partnership with Dubai Islamic Bank and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank that contributed to the release of insolvent inmates convicted with financial cases .This comes within the efforts to bring joy and happiness to families of inmates and their children in penal and correctional facilities.The total value of these initiatives amounted to (9,417,918) This comes on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

HE Khalil Daoud Badran, the Farraj Fund chairman, that works under the MoI, clarified that the achievements accomplished for Eid included the release of 103 insolvent inmates. He indicated that the Furijat campaign was launched in cooperation with the Dubai Islamic Bank that donated 5 million dirhams.

He mentioned that ADIB donated 1 million dirham to support the fund’s strategic initiative. There was another initiative of eid gifts for the siblings of the inmates in the punitive and correctional institutions amounting to 60,600 dirhams for 303 families as well as coupons for eid clothes for 303 families amounting to 287,985 dirhams
