The International affairs office at UAE Ministry of Interior organized a virtual bilateral meeting via video conference technology with a delegation from the Japanese National Police Agency. The meeting discussed ways to step up cooperation between the two sides, and exchange information in enhancing traffic safety on the roads and reducing injuries and deaths resulting from traffic accidents.

A number of projects, initiatives and experiences applied in the two friendly countries were discussed at the meeting with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experiences and enhancing security cooperation. The presentations included topics and awareness-raising materials related to ways to improve road safety and achieve the highest levels of traffic safety as well as efforts to make roads safer.
