HH Sheikh Hamad bin Mohamed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, received members of the Board of Directors of Al Faraj Fund of the Ministry of Interior.

Sheikh Hamad was briefed on the goals of the humanitarian fund and the achievements implemented in order to put the vision of the Fund in practice. The Fund is one of the most prominent models in humanitarian community work. 

Sheikh Hamad expressed his appreciation of the community role played by Al Faraj Fund and its role in promoting the values ​​of solidarity, tolerance and fraternity in the Emirati society and its humanitarian vision. The Fund has the support and follow-up of Lt.-Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

The Ruler of Fujairah listened to HE Khalil Daoud Badran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Faraj Fund who gave a brief explanation about the course of the Fund's work and its major achievements in alleviating the suffering of financially insolvent inmates at the Penal and Correctional Establishments and their families. HH was also briefed on a number of the Fund's projects and initiatives which help achieve the Fund’s noble objectives.
