The Ministry of Interior organized a virtual event on the margin of the 31st meeting of the crime prevention and criminal justice committee with the participation of the UNOCD. The meeting touched on the UAE MoI anti money laundering efforts through data and information flows as well as investigation efficiency.

Brigadier Abdulaziz al Ahmed, deputy commander of the federal criminal police at MoI, chair of the national team in charge of money laundering investigations in the UAE, welcomed participants. He presented some of the UAE efforts in enhancing security and safety as well as its continuous support all regional and international endeavors, fostering international coordination in all types of financial crimes.
