The Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior, Maj. Gen. Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, member of the Executive Committee of Interpol for Asia, has virtually attended the meeting of the Executive Committee at the 208th session of 2021 held via video conference technology.

At the meeting, a number of topics related to combating terrorism and organized crime were discussed, as well as ways to step up cooperation and coordination between member states. Attendees also discussed the exchange of information on international developments and how to face the various types of crimes and strengthen relations and cooperation among police departments around the world.

Attendees also discussed in detail the experiences of member states in crime prevention and ways to maintain security at the time of this global crisis. They talked about the extent of the crisis impact on crime indicators and trends all over the world, and ways to intensify cooperation and efforts for a better and safer world.
