The Minister of the Interior, Institutional Reform and Democratic Renewal of the friendly Kingdom of Belgium, HE Annelies Verlinden, visited Fazaa Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. She was received by Col. Dr. Ali Al Ghafli, the General Supervisor of the Pavilion. The Belgian Minister reviewed the projects and initiatives offered by the pavilion enhancing security, protection and community safety. Projects include the facial fingerprint system, smart police stations, Fazaa community initiatives, the National Program for Behavioral Rewards and Zayed the Inspirer platform. The Minister was accompanied on the visit by Peter Claes, Ambassador of Belgium to the UAE and Chief Commissioner at Belgian Federal Police - International Police Cooperation, and Anne Olders, Assistant Secretary.
