Major General consulting engineer Mohammed Saif al Zafeen, assistant commander in chief for police operations in Dubai, in presence of Brigadier Arif Ali al Rais, Director General of the Police Federal Federation, recognized the Dubai Police General Command (A/main) that won first place in the 5th Police championship for special teams.
The team received the highest score during the championship organized by the Police Sports Federation. The Abu Dhabi police general command (A/main) came second. Dubai police team B came third.
Teams competed in the 5 categories: tactics, attack, rescue, tower, and obstacles, during the duration of the competition this week while all precautionary measures were taken throughout the games.
The Dubai Police team (A) came first in the tactics, attack, rescue, and obstacles, and came first in the tower category. The team gathered a general score of 44. The Abu Dhabi police (B) ranked second in obstacles and tactics. It came third in the attacks, and tower categories with a total score of 36, ranking second overall.
Dubai police (B) scored 30 points after ranking first in the tower category and second in the rescue category.
