Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid al Nuaimi, member of the supreme council, ruler of Ajman, HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid al Nuaimi, Crown prince of Ajman, president of the executive council, attended the MoI Golden Jubilee celebrations, as part of the 50-year celebrations that were held in Ajman.
The celebration was attended by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid al Nuami, president of the municipality and planning department in Ajman, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid al Nuaimi, president of the tourist development department in Ajman, HE counselor Saif al Shaafar, and several officials from government departments in the emirate, as well as members of the Federal National Council, diplomats working in the UAE, and the public.
The celebration was attended by HE LT. Gen. Abdullah Khalida al Marri, Commander in Chief of the Dubai police, Major General Salem Ali Mubarak al Shamsi, MoI Undersecretary for resources and support services, Major General Khalifa Mohammed Mubarak al Khaili, director of the finance and services division in Abu Dhabi police, Major General Khalil Ibrahim al Mansouri, Deputy Commander in Chief of Dubai police for criminal investigation, Major General Mohammed Rafi, secretary of the Golden Jubilee organization committee at the Ministry of Interior, in addition to officers from the ministries of interior and defense.
HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid al Nuaimi, crown prince of Ajman, congratulated HH Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of interior, for the occasion, and appreciated the vital role the ministry plays in supporting comprehensive development in the UAE and its efforts to enhance community security and stability.
The celebration started with the UAE National Anthem upon the arrival of His Highness the Patron of the event.
Then a video about the MoI efforts in enhancing safety and security, and another one about Ajman between the past and the present were shown.
This was followed by an amazing air show from the UAE fursan. Then there were a succession of events including a video about the Ajman police achievements, a performance by the Emirati popular groups, national songs, a parade by the police with the participation of the police forces, academies and student faculties in the UAE. There was also a silent parade by the infantry, as well as a demonstration of Police patrols, vehicles, motorcycles and planes.
The was also performance of national songs and a segment with cultural competitions for the public.
