The Civil Defense General HQs has approved the main awareness plan for 2021, which includes 4 main campaigns, and 16 specialized sub-campaigns, aiming to spread preventive awareness among community members and introducing safety principles and preventing risks, accidents and disasters.

Major General Dr. Jassim Mohamed Al Marzooqi, Commander-in-Chief of Civil Defense at the Ministry of Interior, stated that launching the main awareness plan for 2021 embodies the vision of the Civil Defense General HQs, which aims to enhance the UAE community’s quality of life by reaching the highest levels of safety and civil protection and preserving lives and property."

He added that the main campaigns for this year are "We Safeguard Your Home , "Your Protection is our Goal", "Our Students are our Future" and "Your Protection is our Responsibility", which in the first quarter focus on spreading the culture of fighting fire, and taking safety measures at home among the various segments of society. The campaigns provide tips to take preventive measures to reduce fire accidents and avoid fire breakout, and mark the World Civil Defense Day on March 1st.
