t’s an honor and a source of pride to belong to this beloved country, and to commemorate, on the 2nd of December of every year, the creation of the UAE union. A glorious and special day, where we reminisce all the achievements undertaken by our founding father late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace. Achievements that have extended to our times. HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan followed in his steps, accompanied in this journey by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, Crown prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Commander in Chief of the UAE armed forces. They pursued the work, determined and equipped with vision for a brighter and promising future, out of loyalty to the caring nation and its people.
We are marking an occasion dear to our hearts: the 49th UAE national day. We celebrate under the patronage of a strong government that, God Willing, will always be resolute in serving the interest and the good of the country and its people, domestically and abroad. The visionary leadership realizes successive achievements for the country in various areas, political, social, economic, development… this is made possible first with the help of the Almighty and then thanks to sound planning and continuous follow up of all matters related to the state and the people. This has made the nation a main pillar among other developed countries of the world.
The Ministry of Interior, following the directives of HH General Saif bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, will spare no effort to achieve the vison of our leadership, and effectively implement plans and improve performance continuously. We will face challenges and realize the aspiration of our leadership by expanding services, play an active role in the e-government, maintain security and stability, and protect the nation’s achievements on its territory.
May Allah preserve our country and the guardians of the journey of giving and good deeds. We pledge to remain loyal soldiers in protecting and preserving the security and stability of our beloved nation. We ask Allah to safeguard the government and people we were blessed with, to maintain security, stability, and prosperity year on year.
On this occasion, I extend our heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to our visionary leadership, under HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the UAE, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, Crown prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE armed forces and their brothers the Rules of the emirates, members of the Supreme Council. We renew our pledge to be loyal, multiply our efforts, and work to preserve the Union’s achievements. May its flag always fly high. May it always be the epitome of righteousness and duty. We ask the Almighty, on this occasion, to bestow on us his blessings and to preserve our people’s pride, security, stability, welfare, and prosperity.
