UAE Civil Defense and IACF Discuss Cooperation

Major General Jassem Muhammad Al Marzouqui, Civil Defense General Commander-in-chief, met in his office at the Civil Defense General Command’s Abu Dhabi headquarters with Robert Brown, Assistant Executive Director of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IACF).
Both parties exchanged expertise and knowledge to enhance communication between the UAE Civil Defense and the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IACF) in all areas related to training and scientific research, protection and firefighting; in addition to sharing experiences to promote high quality standards and effective international methods of risk management. They also discussed the IACF membership offer to the UAE Civil Defense, and ways to strengthen future cooperation between the two sides in civil defense fields.
Following the meeting, Major General Jassem Muhammad Al Marzouqui, Civil Defense General Commander-in-chief, joined IACF’s Assistant Executive Director in a tour of the Civil Defense Academy in Abu Dhabi, accompanied by Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Tikkawi, Head of the Media Affairs Department at the Civil Defense General Command and Lt. Colonel Adel Al Sammari, Director of the Civil Defense Academy. He also visited the Al Maqta Civil Defense Station affiliated to the Directorate General of Civil Defense- Abu Dhabi to inspect the firefighting equipment and mechanisms and operational plans.
